Our senses are our window to the world; everything in our lives, we experience through our senses. They’re also our only real connection to the present. What you hear, what you smell, what you physically feel – those are real. Unlike our worries which are nothing more than thoughts that we make up in our minds.
Mindfulness meditation often centers around breathing but, in actuality, any anchor object will do. Meditation is, after all, essentially a practice of focus. As such, today we’re going to focus on your senses.
