This worksheet pack is focused on treating yourself with kindness while you’re suffering. You will learn to soothe yourself when you need it and encourage yourself to move forward.
Think about how you might soothe a friend who is having a hard time. You might make them a cup of tea and remind them that they had good intentions, that everyone makes mistakes, and that you believe in them. You are going to practice treating yourself with that same compassion!
These strategies are consistent with CBT and DBT strategies. Both CBT and DBT have strong empirical support for reducion emotional distress.
