Every couple will face a wide variety of unique challenges to their intimacy throughout life. It's impossible to prepare for each and every one, but it is important to have a general blueprint for how you'll handle things. That's where these "Open When" letter prompts come in.
Each of the seven pages in this PDF prompt you to write a letter to your loved one, which will help you through an intimacy challenge presented by a certain stage of life. Print them out, write them separately, and as you enter each phase of The Family Life Cycle, pop open a bottle of your favorite celebratory drink and read the letters you've written to each other. Not only is it a fun, time-capsule-esque activity, but it will help you enter each phase of life as a united front, ready for anything.
